Real Go beginners mostly are overwhelmed by all the specific Go terms which are being used by more experienced Go players. There exist a bunch of Japanese words which are used within the Go community, by Go teachers, for reviews and comments.
Following table shall not be seen as “complete”, its just the term collection which came across my own path in learning Go. Its very time intensive to bring all together (different languages + definitins / links) in one table. For Japanese it shall become something what you can see here for a more-less complette list of Chinese Go Terms from A-Z .
So I appologize for now…. pls have little bit patiency. I hope to complete the table with basic terms till year’s end 2014. – Mainly I use the Japanese form on my own, being aware that Chinese and Korean equivalents exist and should not be misunderstood as lack of ‘cultural respect’. 🙂

Thickness is a high level go concept. Utilizing thickness is an important skill. |
